Action Alerts

While the League of Women Voters is non-partisan it does, after study, take positions on issues and will advocate for those positions. Positions are established at all three levels of the League:  National, State and Local. 

 

There are times when national, state or local Leagues believe that it would be helpful for members to contact their representatives in regard to an issue. At those times you will receive an “Action Alert” that will describe the issue and how you might help impact it.

​The alerts are just one way the League encourages citizen participation.
